Tri-X & Kids

Started a new project where I am only using one camera & lens with one film. This month is tri-x and with some tweaks (with some help from film buddha - Johnny Patience) I got them to a point where I really like may he hard not turning this into a year long project with tri-x :)

All snaps with Leica M-A and the latest version of the 35mm Summicron. Scanned by photovision.

Spent the weekend in Charlotte, attending Wanderlust which is somewhat of a spiritual festival. It features a 5K walk, followed by group yoga and meditation. I believe there were around 1500 in attendance which was pretty neat. It was a beautiful atmosphere with lots of high fives and loving vibes.

I also had the chance to hang out with Noah Levine, a Buddhist teacher and author of books such as Dharma Punx, Against the Stream and Refuge Recovery. He has been teaching meditation internationally for over a decade and is one of the key teachers responsible for delivering Buddhism and mindfulness to the West. I offered to make a few portraits for him which he happily agreed to :)

Images shot with Hasseblad 501CM, using Portra 400 & HP5 (pushed two stops) and developed and scanned by the Find Lab.
